  1. Night by Elie Wiesel: I like how the book tells us what happens from an actual prisoner point-of-view. Instead of just telling us a bunch of statistics, the author tells us what he went through. From his cruelest thoughts to his scariest moments. I like how the book is so real and personal.

  2. This book was informing and very interesting. I liked it because it told so much about the Holocaust. I for one could relate to some of the things they went through. Like the farther son bonds being broken. My brother and father didn't even start off with the bond Elie and his dad had during that tragedy. So some of the trials the had to face, we face today, and we aren't even in a genocide!

  3. To me this was a interesting book. I think this because it actually taught me information I didn't know about the Holocaust. To tell the truth when I first saw the book I was like this gone be so boring but it turned out so good. But it did have me thinking throughout the whole book and I'm still wondering about it. I was wondering if I was in the same predicament would I have did the same thing some of the victims did. "Probably So"

  4. what troubled me was the fact that they could hang a child. Then watch as the child takes half an hour to die.But why make the rest of the Jews watch as the child struggles and try to gasp for air, only to no that he is about to die.

  5. What I like about this book is the father-son relationship going on. Throughout the book Wiesel and his father always kept each other motivated. Every time one of them was close to giving up and quitting the other was there to encourage him to continue on , even though they didn't really think they had the strength and energy.

  6. I felt that the novel was interesting but it wasn't right how they treated the people like they were animals and not human just because they were Jewish. And it was bad that they killed all of them people but it was horrible how they killed all of them babies and children.

  7. Night was a very interesting book about the Holocaust. I love the fact that it tells true events that actually happened. "Where is God now?" "Where is He? Here He is---He is hanging here on this gallows. . . ." These quotes caught my attention because now that they have seen all those harsh things happen to innocent people they feel that God doesn't exist.

  8. Night by Elie Wiesel was a great book that showed you the holocaust through a teenagers eyes. It gave you a inside look at what happened inside the work camps. This book takes you through the good times and the bad times that the author had to go through during this time.

  9. Elie Wiesel's Night really caught my attention. It had many interesting details and information about the Holocaust. I like how the book gives full details from a point of view that the reader can understand more. I enjoyed learning every bit of information that I learned from this book. I feel a lot of remorse for the victims in this tragedy, and I hope that one day soon there will be a end to all Genocides.

  10. I found a lot of things about the book "Night" troubling, for example how can someone kill a child or baby... those people need to fall off the face of the earth!

  11. This book is interesting but i just dont understand how one man can arrange these type of things. how can these people just live a normal life and just up and wipe their houses? did the ss men know that it was wrong and did they want to do the opposite? in this time of day i wonder if me & my mother would have the same bond ? would i have survived as long as elie and his father did? this book give great details and drives you to read more about what will happen next to the jews .

  12. Night by Elie Wiesel was one of the most touching books I have ever read. I don't know why people can be so hateful because of a religion. The most interesting part of it was how Elie and his father came together. That shows how close people can get at a time like this.

  13. When i told Mr.Knight he had a lazy eye, with a big cool-aid smile and his eyes looked cocked like a pistol. It was funny at the time and everyone was laughing! I don't have any remorse for it because the truth is the truth! Don't nobody want to be lied to!!

  16. I think it was a very troubled story. You can also learn to take your freedom as a good thing because you never know when you going to leave this earth. I think in this story the family bonds could have been better.

  27. I liked the book because it tells us about the things that were happening back then during the Holocaust and it lets us know what a holocaust is so we will know one when we see or hear about one. Because I never heard about a holocaust until we read the book.

  29. Night is a vivid account of Wiesel's experience in the Nazi concentration camps. The only thing that was troubling me is the fact that it was to short. The book expressed the themes real well and the dialogue really helped me get into the characters. This book made me get real up close and personal with the holocaust.

  33. The part in the novel Night by Elie Wiesel that made me show emotions was when they were burning innocent children, grown men and women. Just trying to imagine what pain and suffering the Jews went through just sends chills through your body. Other than that it was a great novel. This book taught me that it's very important to stay close to family members and to not hold a grudge with the people that you love.

  34. The book "Night" was a very interesting book. At first I thought it was going to be boring but it actually taught me some things I didn't know about the Holocaust. Such as how the people got separated from their families and how they killed babies, children and adults. I like how the book got into details because you can picture what happened. I have a lot of remorse for the people who suffered this.

  35. I like the the book a lot because of the way they made us imagine all of the harsh and terrible things that was going on doing the Holocaust and that made us think about how we would of felt if we was in their shoes and it made us think how time has changed from back then to now!!!

  36. I LIKE THE BOOK BUT THE THINGS THEY DO TO THE PEOPLE IT JUST SO WRONG AND MEAN BUT IT IS A GOOD BOOK TO READ.
